Aatmanirbhar Gujarat MSME Capital Subsidy
Aatmanirbhar Gujarat Scheme for assistance to MSMEs provides capital investment subsidy and interest subsidy to boost manufacturing sector. Part of Gujarat Industrial Policy 2020, aimed at making Gujarat MSMEs globally competitive. Operational from October 2022 to October 2027.

Benefits
✅ CAPITAL INVESTMENT SUBSIDY (Category-wise):
• Category I (Backward Areas): Max ₹35 lakh
• Category II (Developing Areas): Max ₹30 lakh
• Category III (Developed/Municipal Corp): Max ₹10 lakh
✅ INTEREST SUBSIDY:
• Category I: Up to 9% per annum
• Category II: Up to 8% per annum
• Category III: Up to 7% per annum
• Maximum: ₹35 lakh per year for 7 years
• Additional 1% for registered startups
✅ CGTMSE FEE REIMBURSEMENT:
• Micro & Small Enterprises
• 75% of CGTMSE guarantee fee
• Maximum ₹1 lakh
✅ POWER CONNECTION ASSISTANCE:
• 35% of LT/HT service line charges
• Maximum ₹5 lakh per enterprise
✅ ADDITIONAL BENEFITS:
• ZED certification support (up to ₹1 lakh)
• Market development assistance (exhibitions)
• Technology upgradation support
• Special incremental benefits for women, young entrepreneurs, SC/ST, differently-abled, and registered startups
✅ Dr. Baba Saheb Ambedkar Udyog Uday Yojana:
• Special scheme for SC/ST entrepreneurs with enhanced subsidy rates
NOTE: Total assistance cannot exceed actual investment/expenditure

Eligibility Criteria
• Must be Micro, Small, or Medium Enterprise as per MSMED Act, 2006
- Valid Udyam Registration Certificate (mandatory)
- For Startups: DPIIT recognition required
- New manufacturing units OR existing units undertaking expansion/diversification
- Manufacturing sector only (service sector has separate scheme)
- Expansion: Min 50% increase in Gross Fixed Capital Investment (GFCI)
- Diversification: Min 25% of existing GFCI
- Must apply within 1 year from first disbursement of term loan OR commencement of commercial production, whichever is later
- Term loan obtained on or after August 7, 2020
- Minimum 60% investment in plant and machinery
- Not availed capital subsidy on same GFCI under other schemes
- Employment generation mandatory for service sector
- Shop and Establishment registration required (if applicable)
